PARAGON IMAGING ANNOUNCES VERSION 3.0 OF ELT/5500 SOFTWARE

Woburn, MA USA – December 6, 2005: Paragon Imaging, Inc, leading developers of image exploitation software announced today the latest release of their premier image exploitation software—ELT/5500.  Developed specifically for primary imagery analysts and geospatial professionals, ELT/5500 software fuses traditional image exploitation functionality with geospatial support in a single easy-to-use software application.  Like previous versions of ELT/5500, version 3.0 is NITF-Certified and runs on MS Windows XP.

Version 3.0 of ELT/5500 represents a major functionality and performance upgrade over previous versions, the most notable features and enhancements include:

· Enhanced GIS functionality, including Feature Class support, data sources, spatial and meta data filtering, and querying.

· Research and negation operations, including four-way comparisons, are now supported.

· Mosaicing, including feathering of edges, is now supported.

· Display-by-Scale, which enables you to set both the minimum and maximum scale to show and high layers as appropriate.

· Ability to create and update Graphical Situational Display (MIL-STD-2525) symbols is now supported.

· Creation of Panchromatic (Pan) sharpen images now exists.

· Pan exclusion areas are now supported.

· New Formats including DEM (Digital Elevation Model), VPF (Vector Product Format) and Microsoft Access formats are now supported.

· The version 3.0 API provides additional features beyond previous releases.
